The only way our show got approval to proceed was our pledge to the county health officials that we would aggressively enforce these regulations.

COVID-19 instructions for show car owners.

1. All show cars must arrive between 7:30 am and 9:00 am.

2. All show car occupants must wear face masks.

3. Cars will be placed by the Auto Show marshals to assure proper distances between show cars.

4. Six-foot social distancing must be observed at all times.

5. Cars must display their windshield card with voting number.

6. All show cars must remain on the field until 3pm.

Instructions for all show cars

Show car arrival time – All show cars must arrive at the show grounds by 9:00 am. The show car gate opens at 7:30 am. Because of the special health circumstances in this year’s show, we ask that you stick to this arrival time window.

All show cars should enter show grounds from Bridge Street at the front of the high school. Upon entering, car owners will stop at registration table for check-in. After check-in, cars will be directed to photographer’s location where a photo is taken of the car. From there, event marshals will direct the show car to the proper place on the field.

Trailered cars should enter show grounds from Bridge Street at the front of the high school. At the registration table they will receive their paperwork and then follow signage / directions to trailer parking. After unloading, show car should be driven back to the registration table, where car will be directed to the photographer’s location for a photo, and then directed to the proper division by our event marshals.

Safety first – All show vehicles must have fire extinguishers. Please heed the marshall’s instructions while moving your vehicles on show grounds. Always observe a safe speed. We do not wish to have a pedestrian-vehicle accident. Think safety.

Authentic Automobiles Only – Only authentic models of recognized automobile manufacturing companies are accepted. Customized cars, aftermarket parts modified vehicles, replicas, kit cars, and other such vehicles are not accepted. Vehicles in the High Performance Production Cars (HPP) division must be American made and completely stock as delivered by the manufacturer without modifications. Late model Shelby Cobra automobiles will be accepted with proof that the vehicle was manufactured at the Shelby facility. Vehicles may be turned away on the day of the show if modifications are found. There are no exceptions.

Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Use – Because the show is conducted on school grounds, consumption of alcoholic beverages and the use of tobacco products in any form are strictly prohibited at all times. State and local regulations prohibit any exceptions to this policy.

PetsNo pets are allowed on the show grounds unless they are Leader, or Seeing Eye, dogs or other animals used for assistance by handicapped persons.

Do spectators and show car owners get refunds if the Show is canceled?

In the Age Of Covid-19, that’s a great question!

Depending on the COVID-19 situation, state, county, or local agencies could add additional limits or withdraw approval for the 2020 New Hope Automobile Show at any time. You’ll agree that the circumstances surrounding such a decision are completely fluid and out of the control of the New Hope Solebury Community Association, the legal nonprofit entity that presents the Show.

What is for sure, though, is that the charities and beneficiaries receiving donations from the proceeds from the Show still rely on our financial support. Therefore, in the event the Show is further limited or canceled by governmental authority, full or partial (treated as a donation) refunds may be requested in writing. Or you may request that your donation be applied to next year’s Show.

No matter what, we would be honored if you would consider your Show admission, vendor, or registration fee as a charitable donation to these worthy causes.
